Common Questions
What experience do I need to join a charter?
No sailing experience is necessary. Our experienced crews handle all navigation and vessel operations. You're welcome to observe and learn, or simply relax and enjoy the journey. All experiences are suitable for those comfortable on water.
How far in advance should I book?
We appreciate booking requests at least two weeks ahead, particularly during December through March when calm weather conditions are most consistent. For multi-night retreats, earlier booking allows more flexibility in itinerary planning. If you're already in Krabi, we'll do our best to accommodate shorter notice requests.
What happens if weather conditions aren't suitable?
Safety and comfort guide all decisions. If conditions don't allow for the planned experience, we'll work with you to reschedule or adjust the itinerary. During monsoon season (May through October), we operate on selected dates when forecasts are favorable. Full refunds apply if weather prevents departure.
Are meals and beverages included?
Yes, all described meals are included in the charter cost. Morning cruises include breakfast, full-day charters include lunch, and multi-night retreats include all meals prepared by our chef. We accommodate dietary preferences and requirements when advised in advance. Beverages include water, Thai iced tea, fresh fruit juices, and coffee.
What should I bring with me?
Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and swimwear are essential. Light cotton clothing works well for tropical conditions. Towels, snorkeling equipment, and life jackets are provided. For multi-night charters, bring comfortable casual clothing and any personal items you prefer. We suggest a waterproof bag for phones and cameras.
Can children participate in these experiences?
Children are welcome on all our charters. Morning cruises suit families with young children due to the shorter duration and return before midday heat. For safety, children must be able to swim or comfortable wearing life jackets throughout the journey. Multi-night retreats work well for older children who will appreciate the peaceful environment.
