Rivamaris emerged from a simple observation made during early morning paddles in Krabi's lagoons. The founding team brought together sailing expertise developed in Mediterranean and Southeast Asian waters, combined with deep appreciation for the specific character of Krabi's coastal environment. Rather than importing standard yacht charter approaches, they studied the rhythms of local waters: which lagoons remained calm through different seasons, where currents created the clearest swimming conditions, which anchorages offered both shelter and beauty.

From the beginning, the approach focused on doing fewer things well rather than offering extensive options.
